Thanks to a legal challenge by a British Backpacker who was working in Oz, the High Court of Australia has just ruled that the Australian Tax Office was guilty of taxing backpackers more than Aussies.

This means that if you were working in Australia between 2016 and 2021 you probably paid too much tax and are now able to get a tax refund!

To get a refund you can either contact the Australian Tax Office or use someone like Taxbsack.com to help you do it.
